Use case · Freelancers

A task manager for freelancers juggling several clients.

Every client job is a project with a different shape. F4Goals gives each one its own tree of subtasks and its own percentage, so you can see which job needs you today.

The freelancer’s problem: many jobs, none of them “done”

A freelancer rarely has one list. You have a client waiting on a draft, another on revisions, a third whose brief is still half written, and an invoice for a job you finished last week. A flat to-do list mixes all of it together and tells you nothing about which job is in danger.
What you need is a view per job and a sense of how far along each one is. That is what F4Goals is built around.

One project per client or job

Create a project for each client or engagement. Everything for that job lives inside it: deliverables as tasks, steps as subtasks, small chores as leaves. Collapse the projects you are not working on today and the list stays short.
Each project shows its own progress percentage on the Projects screen.
Break a deliverable into subtasks until each step is a single sitting.
Set progress as you go, so a draft that is 70% written looks 70% written.
Drag a task into another project if a piece of work moves to a different job.

A weekly rhythm that works

Open the Projects screen first and read the percentages. The job that has not moved since last week is the one to open first. Then work inside that project, slide the tasks you advanced, and close the app.
The home screen then shows your streak and a seven-day chart of what you finished, which is a quiet reminder that you are making progress, even in a week with no big delivery.

What it deliberately does not do

F4Goals is a personal task and progress tool. It does not track time, send invoices, set reminders or due dates, or share a board with a client. Most freelancers pair a tool like this with an invoicing app and a calendar. If you need a shared client portal, use something built for that.

Free, on web and Android

There is no card to enter and no per-project limit. Use it in the browser at your desk and in the Android app when you are away from it, and the two stay in sync.

Questions

Is F4Goals good for freelancers?

It suits freelancers who want one project per client, nested subtasks per deliverable and a progress percentage per job. It does not do time tracking, invoicing or client sharing, so it is a personal planning tool rather than a full practice-management suite.

Can I keep each client in a separate project?

Yes. Create a project per client or job and keep the tasks for each inside it. Each project shows its own percentage.

Does F4Goals have due dates or reminders?

No. F4Goals does not currently have due dates, reminders or recurring tasks. It focuses on structure and progress. Pair it with a calendar if you work to hard deadlines.

Can I share a project with a client?

No. F4Goals is built for one person. There is no sharing or collaboration.

Try it on your own work.

F4Goals is free. Create a project, add a few subtasks and slide the first one.
